Mr. Md. Mohiuddin, son of Late Hafiz Abdul Motin and Late Tajkera Khatun was born in 1976 in a respectable Muslim family in Lakshmipur. Mr. Mohiuddin has completed Masters in Economics from Dhaka College, Dhaka. He joined Premier Leasing & Finance Limited in October-2014 in the Corporate & HR Department as Sr. Principal Office as Assistant Company Secretary then has promoted Assistant Vice President to till date. He has wide experience in the different field of Financial Sector, General Insurance & Manufacturing Companies.

Prior to joining in PLFL he worked as Asst. General Mnanager & Asst. Company Secretary in Dhaka Insurance Limited, a sister concern of City Group and as Sr. Manager and In-Charge of Company Affairs & Share Department in Sonargaon Textiles Limited (PLC), a sister concern of Khansons Group. He has attended various seminars and workshops on Capital Market & Secretarial related issues. He engaged a lot of Social works in home district Lakshmipur and Narayangonj.

Mr. Farid Ahmed

Mr. Farid Ahmed, son of Mr. Md. Abdul Hamid and Mrs. Modina Khatun was born in Kishoreganj in 1977. He has 17 years of experience in Bank and Financial Institutions. He joined Premier Leasing & Finance Limited in the year 2010 as Senior Officer & Branch Second Man. In the year 2019 he took over the responsibility of Manager of Brahmanbaria Branch.

Prior to joining Premier Leasing & Finance Limited he worked with Integrated Social Development Effort, BRAC Bank Limited, United Finance Limited in different position at Branch and Head Office.

Mr. Khan Mostafa Monwar

Mr. Khan Mostafa Monwar was born in 1978 in a respectable family in Manikganj. He is married and blessed with two daughters. He is a career Banker having banking experience more than 17 years. Mr. Md. Hafizur Rahman Chowdhury

Mr. Md. Hafizur Rahman Chowdhury, son of Md. Abdul Wahid Chowdhury and Late Achiya Khatun Chowdhury was born in 1977 in a respectable family in Hobigonj. He started his banking career in 2006 as Officer in SME Department of BRAC Bank Limited. After working more than 04 years as Zonal Manager in SME Department of BRAC Bank Limited, he worked 02 years as SME In-charge in SME Department of IDLC Finance Limited. Then, he joined in Premier Leasing & Finance Limited as Principal Officer in the department of operation and marketing at Sylhet Branch.

Currently, he has been working as Assistant Vice President & Branch In-charge in Premier Leasing & Finance Limited under Sylhet Branch as well as he was deputed as Branch In-charge (Acting) in Premier Leasing Securities Limited under Sylhet Branch since 8th November, 2016.

Mr. Sufi Md. Abidur Rahman

Mr. Sufi Md. Abidur Rahman son of Sufi Maulvi Moqbulur Rahman & Rahima Khatun was born in 1969 in a respective family in Daudkandi, Cumilla. After completion his B.Com (Hon’s) & M.Com. degree in Management under Dhaka University he started his service career from the very beginning of PLFL as an Executive (December’96) to till. He has worked in Marketing & Development, Legal & Recovery dept. in this institution. Now he is working as a Manager of Mirpur Branch.
Mr. Md. Humayun Rashid
SAVP & Head of SME

Mr. Md. Humayun Rashid has 15 years’ experience in financial industry. He started his career in Standard Chartered Bank on 15 May 2006. Before joining Premier Leasing & Finance Limited, he worked in BRAC Bank Limited, ICB Islamic Bank in different strategic senior positions. He completed Honors & Master’s in Finance & Banking under National University.

He has earned commendable knowledge and exposure in Credit Risk Management, SME Finance, Product Development, Marketing, Sales, Conventional and Islamic products, procedures, policies & regulations.

In his career, he has attended so many training, workshops and seminars on SME & Corporate banking, Credit Risks, Core Risks management for Banks, product development, Islamic banking, Project financing, etc.

Mr. Mohammed Shajaman
SAVP & Manager, Chattogram

Mr. Mohammed Shajaman, S/o. Late Dr. Md.Shajahan & Shahida Begum. He was born in 1977 in a respective Muslim family in Sandwip, Chattogram. He has completed Masters in Management from Govt. Kabi Nazrul University College, Dhaka in 2003. Simultaneously he also completed Masters of Business administration (MBA) in Finance from Eastern University, Dhaka in 2006. After completing MBA, he joined National Housing Finance & Investments Ltd., as Assistant Manager on 2nd May 2006 at Head Office, Dhaka and worked 4 years in Head Office & Chattogram Office. He was Branch Manager at National Housing, Chattogram Branch for 2 years.

He also joined Premier Leasing & Finance Limited as Senior Principal Officer (SPO) at Chittagong Branch in 2010. He got Promotion as Assistant Vice President (AVP) in 2016. After retirement of the previous Manager, he took over the Branch responsibility as Branch Manager in 2018.

He engaged a lot of Social works in Sandwip & Chattogram. He involved in Lions Club of Chittagong Majestic City as Vice President. He is also General Secretary of Sandwip Education Society, Chattogram.

His hobby is reading the Holy Quran & Traveling, Social work.

Mr. A. Sayeed Chowdhury
VP & Head of ICT

Mr. A. Sayeed Chowdhury has over 26 years of experience in the Information and Communication Technology sector. He joined PREMIER LEASING & FINANCE LIMITED in 2010 as Head of Information and Communication Technology Section.

Prior to taking up the post in PREMIER LEASING, he worked in various positions in Information Technology Departments at Plaimar (HK) Limited, Birds Bangladesh Agencies Ltd., and USDA (United States Department of Agriculture), concern of US Embassy, Dhaka.

After completing his Master’s degree from Dhaka University, he has taken higher degrees in Computer Hardware and Networking from various institutes in Bangladesh. He also has experience in various Linux distributions are Red Hat, Debian, Ubuntu and Mint etc.

Mr. Sayeed was an important player in the National Youth Hockey Championship and National School Hockey for Mymensingh District/ Mymensingh Zilla School Team. He has also excelled in football and cricket at school and college levels.

Mr. Syed Monir Hossain

Mr. Syed Monir Hossain has joined Premier Leasing & Finance Limited in December 2008 in the finance & accounts division as SPO. Thereafter, he has promoted to AVP & SAVP & then to VP & CFO since 2022 to till date. He has 23 years of experience in the field of Financial Sector. Prior to joining PLFL, he worked for BRAC & BRAC Bank Limited as Manager Audit for nine & half years. He has wide experience of Finance, Accounts, Treasury as well as Internal Audit. He is a Member of the Dhaka Taxes Bar Association. He has attended a number of training, seminar and workshops organized by Bangladesh Bank, WSDA New Zealand, Earnest & Young Malaysia. ICAB. ICSB. He is the DCAMLCO of the Company and took part CAMLCO conference regularly. He obtained MCom. (Accounting), MBA (Finance), CA (Inter), & LLB degree from different institutions.

Mr. Muhammad Ali Faisal

Mr. Muhammad Ali Faisal completed MBA in Banking and BBA (Hon’s.) in Finance from Dhaka University. Currently, Mr. Faisal is holding the position of Vice President under the operation department since 2017 and joined at Premier Leasing and Finance Ltd. in the year of 2014. Prior to Joining PLFL he worked in Union Capital Ltd. under Corporate finance for more than 7 years.

Mr. Subash Chandra Moulick FCS
EVP & Company Secretary

Mr. Subash Chandra Moulick FCS joined Premier Leasing & Finance Limited on January, 2008 as Senior Assistant Vice President and Secretary to the Board. Subsequently, he has been promoted to the rank of Vice President and assigned with the responsibility of Head of Corporate and HR Division of the Company in addition to his duties as Company Secretary. Thereafter, he promoted to the rank of Senior Vice President. He has been working as CAMLCO in Premier Leasing & Finance Limited since 31-December-2015. Mr. Moulick is a qualified Chartered Secretary and Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB). He did his articled studentship course in Olympic Industries Ltd.

Mr. Moulick obtained M.S.S. degree in Social Science (Sociology) from the University of Dhaka in 1991 and MBA in Finance from Northern University Bangladesh in 2008. In addition to his service in PLFL, He has been working as a member of Journal & Publication sub-Committee of ICSB and member of the Editorial Board of the professional Journal ‘The Chartered Secretary’ published by ICSB since October, 2016. He also worked in the position during 2003 to 2010.

Prior to joining his current assignment, he had served as Deputy Company Secretary in GSP Finance Company (Bangladesh) Limited for two and half years and as Assistant Company Secretary and In-Charge of Share Department in Olympic Industries Limited for about nine and half years. He has attended several seminars and workshops on Capital Market issues, Money Laundering and various Corporate Management related issues.

Dr. Rezwanul Huque Khan

Dr. Rezwanul Huque Khan is currently serving as an Associate Professor at the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka (DU), the most reputed and pioneer business school in the country. He also holds the position of the coordinator of BBA program at IBA. Mr. Rezwan has been closely working with a2i as a consultant/lead researcher for different innovative products/services they have already launched. He is also involved with several ICT projects initiated by the ICT ministry of Bangladesh aiming Digital Bangladesh.

Dr. Rezwan pursued his PhD degree from University of Warwick, UK and contributed in the field of digital innovation and entrepreneurship with rich insights. He did his MBA from IBA and BSc (Hons.) in Computer Science and Information Technology from IUT, a subsidiary organ of the OIC. Dr. Rezwanul Huque Khan received several scholarships throughout his academic career including the Commonwealth Scholarships for his PhD and the OIC Scholarships in his Bachelor program. Mr. Rezwan secured 10th position in the combined merit list in his HSC Examination from Jessore Board.

Dr. Rezwan has been in academia for more than fifteen years. Before joining at IBA, he held different teaching positions at different private universities in the country and has been actively involved in research. His research interests relate to the transformative potential of digital technology as it pervades modern business and entrepreneurship. His research focuses on digital innovation, entrepreneurship, consumer behavior in different digital platforms (e-banking, e-commerce etc.) and BoP markets. His recent articles have been published in the leading local journals and international outlets such Journal of Business Administration, Journal of Business Studies, European Journal of Business and Research, and International Journal of Managerial Studies and Research. He has participated in various seminars and workshops at home and abroad.

Dr. Rezwan is a life member of different reputed associations and clubs which include Association of Information Systems (AIS), IBA Alumni Association (IBAAA), Dhaka University Alumni Association, IUT Alumni Association (IUTAA), Jhenidah Ex-Cadet Association (JEXCA) and Cadet College Club (CCCL).

Dr. A.A.Mahboob Uddin Chowdhury

Professor Dr. A. A. Mahboob Uddin Chowdhury has been teaching in the Department of Finance, University of Dhaka for the last 35 years. He is currently a Selection Grade Professor of the Department. Securing tenth position from the Dhaka Board in his HSC Examination from Commerce group, Dr. Chowdhury directly got admitted in the Department of Finance in 1978. After completing B. Com. (Hons.) and M. Com. Degrees from the Department with outstanding results he went to Nagoya University, Japan for higher studies on Monbusho Scholarship. He obtained Master of Economics Degree (Major in Business Administration) having All “A” Grades from Nagoya University, Japan. The Master Thesis titled “An Insight Into the Optimal Capital Structure”. His Ph.D. thesis titled “Agency Relationships and Capital Structure of Public Limited Companies: The Cases of Japan and Bangladesh”. His areas of interest are Corporate Governance, Capital Structure and Financial Markets”. Dr. Chowdhury participated in various seminars and workshops at home and abroad.

He has 35 research papers to his credit published in local and international journals. He received Dean’s Academic Award as Best Researcher by the Faculty of Business Studies, University of Dhaka. He also received “Sonali Bank Silver Medal” for standing 2nd position in Banking Diploma Examination, Part-1 and completing the examination in one chance in 1985.

Dr. Chowdhury has extensive experience in various administrative capacities such as Chairman, Department of Finance, Member of Finance Committee, University of Dhaka, Director MBA & MBA (Evening Program), Department of Finance, University of Dhaka. He was a member of the Finance Committee and Academic Council of BOU. He is a Life member of DUAA, FAA and JUAAB. He is currently the member of the Academic Committee of BICM.

Dr. Chowdhury served IFIC Bank Limited as Probationary Officer and Officer Grade-1 for one and a half years.

Mrs. Nargis Anwar

Mrs. Nargis Anwar Daughter of A.M. Aminul Islam Khan and Samsun Nahar Begum and wife of Md. Anwarul Haque, Nargis Anwar is the Chairperson of a reputed real estate Company Living Plus Limited. She is a Director of Premier Leasing & Finance Limited and Sponsor of Mercantile Bank Limited. She joined Real Estate, Banking and Insurance businesses after completion of her education in 1981.

Mrs. Farzana R. Shahabuddin, daughter of Late M.A. Bashar and Late Rehana Bashar was born in a respectable family in Gopalgonj. She is the wife of Mr. Md. Born in 1953, Engr. A. Z. M. Akramul Haq comes of a respectable family in Dewanganj, Jamalpur. After graduation from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET), Dhaka (Session 1972-73), he worked for a brief period with Dockyard & Engineering Works Ltd., BSEC, Narayanganj and Bangladesh Railway in the mechanical engineering cadre. He also worked with King Fahd Industrial port in KSA. He started his own business in the year 1986 and played key role in construction of many large projects in Bangladesh which include 140MW Mymensingh Power Station (phase-I and phase-II) and GK Irrigation Pumping Station (Rehabilitation). In 1985, he became an Associate of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects (RINA) and Member of the Society of Naval Architects & Marine Engineers (SNME).

Mr. Abu Sadek Md. Sohel

Mr. Abu Sadek Md. Sohel was born in 1952 in a respectable family in Netrakona. He is a career banker having banking experience of more than 39 years. He started his banking career in 1977 as Senior Officer of Sonali Bank Limited. After working 24 years in different branches and Head Office, he was elevated to the rank of General Manager by the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh in 2001. He made Deputy Managing Director of Agrani Bank Limited in 2005 and a few months later joined Social Islami Bank Limited in September, 2005 after taking optional retirement from the services of the State Owned Banks. He worked 8 years in SIBL as Deputy Managing Director, Additional Managing Director and CEO of SIBL Securities Limited. He became Managing Director of Bangladesh Commerce Bank Limited in October, 2013 and completed the full tenure successfully in 2016. He attended different training / seminars all over the world including USA, Germany, China, Hong Kong, Thailand, India and Nepal.

Abu Sadek Md. Sohel is associated with Institute of Bankers, Bangladesh (IBB) for about two decades. At present, he is the Part-time Faculty of MBA Program of Uttara University, Dhaka. His daughter Dr. Farzana Sohel, FCPS, FRCS is a renowned Ophthalmologist.

Fazlur Rahman started his Banking career in Pubali Bank Limited through recruited by Bangladesh Bank Recruitment Committee (BRC) in 1983. Thereafter, he worked in National Bank Limited, EXIM Bank Limited and NCC Bank Limited in different capacity at Branch and Head Office. Mr. Md. Fazlur Rahman has also completed Banking Diploma (Part-1) from Institute of Bankers, Bangladesh.
